We sell Christian cards and books, baby wear, hand knits and quilts, free trade gifts and more. Run an Online Shop selling AMUA diaries, Christian cards and more: musydney.org.au/shop Host “Mothers Union Sydney” Facebook page and a private Facebook group “Christian Parenting Australia” - “A supportive and safe community for Australian Christian parents to talk about real-life parenting” Host Annual Seminars which offer biblical based teaching and encouragement on relevant topics of interest to today’s families. Provide Christian Seminars & Parenting Courses that are uniquely Australian, based on world-class research, and practical in daily parenting & life. Available to book both in person in parishes and online https://www.musydney.org.au/parenting-courses Support Children’s Hospital Chaplains and their ministry. Visit Maternity Hospitals and distribute gospels and hand-made gifts to families (in recess due to COVID) Produce nightdresses and specialist garments for the Neo-Natal wards and grieving gowns for families whose babies have died in hospital Volunteer in the waiting areas of the family courts serving coffee and tea at the invitation of the Magistrates and Court Officers (in recess due to COVID) Support AMUA and World-wide Mothers Union projects Fund Family Church Workers Mothers Union Sydney currently funds Family Workers in two local churches at Jamberoo and Airds in Campbelltown for 2021-2023. These Church Workers are involved in new ministry contacting and connecting with young families and seek to link them into their parish church and playgroups, Christianity Explained Courses, children and family outreach programs and offer support at their point of need. This is funded by donations from our members.
