I love going to Church each Sunday. It really is a privilege to gather with God’s people wherever we are as we meet our heavenly Father through the Lord Jesus and by the power of the Holy Spirit. Sometimes we forget that and just go because ’that’s what we do’ but it is a precious time to set aside to join with others in fellowship. I think singing God’s praises together is such a blessing.
When we share Holy Communion, the service reminds us of the depth of God’s love in the sacrifice of his Son for us. I hope these Mid Year Devotions inspired by the ‘Comfortable Words’ in our Prayer Book will refresh your faith in Jesus by reminding us of his Amazing Grace’.

AMUA Easter Meditations taken from the Gospel of John
As Easter approaches each year it is such a blessing to reflect on the death and resurrection of our Lord Jesus. Reading each of the gospel accounts is so moving and our hearts are awakened by the depth of what Jesus suffered for us. That he died for us and redeemed us from sin, unworthy as we are, moves me to tears.
In contrast the Resurrection gives us hope for the future, that our Saviour has conquered death so that trusting in him we can be with him forever.
I hope these meditations on John’s gospel will be a blessing to you personally but also to those you share them with.
Several branches have inserted a hymn with each reading and used them as an Easter service.
May the blessings of Easter enrich your faith in Jesus.
